Yesterday I was told that a film crew would be in today following Marion Colisbee-Smith, a cheesemaker looking to establish her own cheesemaking business.

"Great!" I thought, until I suddenly realised that I was in the Reading Room today.

So today the phone call comes through from Judith at Reception that they've arrived and would be through in a minute.

After the intros I was asked if I would mind being miked up so that as I show Marion the documents we'd found for her they'd be able to hear me. Being as Bridget had left the room to go on production, I had no choice but to say yes.

I did my little piece in front of the camera and went back to the desk. That's about it.

Anyway, look out for me on Life begins - the cheesemaker episode - on Channel 4 later this year.
