This month I've mostly been getting excited about switching electricity provider.
Since moving into our house just over four years ago I've had, some may say, an unhealthy addiction to monitoring our energy usage. As we're an electricity-only property, that's pretty easy to do through taking meter readings and keeping a log in a spreadsheet. Yep, you heard me. I have a spreadsheet for monitoring electricity consumption.
Having just registered for an Olympic pedometer challenge through work, I'm wondering whether or not I could take it a step further. All puns intended.
This weekend I realised that I hadn't tweeted since mid-March, haven't actively posted to Google+ for almost a month and only really used Facebook to see what's going on and to look after the shop's page.
I don't really know what's caused this drift away from the world of online networks.
Not wanting to return home more tired than when we arrived, and to try and get over our colds, we're having a rest day today and making the most of the cottage.
We'll be going out for food tonight, but other than that there's nothing else to report so this is all you're getting for now!
Despite us all feeling under the weather with the lurgy we had already booked train tickets down to Looe on the Looe Valley line so that's where we headed today.
We decided to stay a little closer to base today so had a lazy morning but ventured out to Minions, Golitha Falls, Jamaica Inn and Launceston this afternoon. This blog post also includes links to the Runkeeper logs and maps that show the paths we took for two of the day's activities.
